Day Care Information

Hours of Daycare Operation: Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Saturday Hours of operation: 10:00am - 4:00pm.

We, at DOGS R US, have created a open and clean envirnoment for your dogs to play in.  We have over 4,000 sq. ft.of climate controlled indoor play area  and over 8,000 sq. ft. of outdoor play area.  The dogs can come and go inside and out as they please through a always open door with a strip curtain door to keep the elements out and the heat or a/c in. Once outside there is a large bathroom area with two fire hydrants, toys, dog houses, canopy covered area, and several water dishes and swimming pools for drinking and play.  Inside there is a ton of room for running and playing, a two fenced systems for checking dogs in and out,  several toys for playing with and on, a seperate fenced area for little dogs, and a full service grooming shop.

Below is an outline of the policies and procedures we have in place to help keep it a fun, safe place for your special canine friend.

Policies and Procedures

DOGS R US

Before we can allow dogs in our daycare facility, they must pass an Evaluation Test. This test is to ensure the safety of our staff and the other dogs. This test is provided free of charge, making this a free day of daycare. We will be evaluating the temperament of your dog for possible aggressive behavior that may be a problem for our staff and other dogs.

DOGS R US provides a safe and social atmosphere. We can only permit playful and fun loving dogs in our facility. If your dog is having a bad day and displays bad behavior, he or she wil be placed in time-out. They will be separated from all dogs for 5 to 10 minutes. This gives everyone a chance to calm down. If this behavior becomes consistent, he or she will be requested to be removed until the problem is corrected.

DOGS R US will do everything to prevent any injuries that might occur. The Evaluation test is constantly supervised, however, there is always risks involved when allowing your dog to interact with other dogs. Dog fights, scratches, cuts, etc. can happen even with constant supervision. If there is a problem, the dog's owner will assume all liability for the actions of their dog, and agrees not to file any legal suits or charges against DOGS R US.

DOGS R US can only accept dogs which have been fully vaccinated before joining our facility. We require that your dog be vaccinated every six months for bordatella. Your dog will also need to be spayed/neutered unless they are under 7 months old to join our daycare program.

DOGS R US will provide food and treats for your dog during the day at daycare on an as needed basis. If you dog is sensitive to different kinds of food, we recommend you bring your own food.

Toys, blankets, beds, etc., are all welcomed to make your dog's temporary stay as close to home as possible. Please do not bring any family heirlooms or treasured possessions you and your dog can't live without. Although we make every effort to treat your dogs things with care, your dog's new found canine friends don't always show the same respect.

Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Sunday Pickup times are 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Please try to be considerate of our hours!
A late fee of $1.00 per minute will be assessed for any picked-up after normal business hours. If later than 15 minutes after closing, an overnight boarding fee will also be assessed.
